Ah, MySpace. Glittering backgrounds, auto-playing music, and, of course, the politics of the top 8. MySpace introduced many of us to social media, and perhaps more importantly, to the world of code.
Tom taught millions of people basic HTML and CSS through the MySpace profile editor. The site topped 100 million active users at its peak, so that's a lot of people tinkering with a lot of style and img tags.
Join us as we look back on MySpace's role in introducing an entire generation to code. The site may no longer have the relevance it once did, but the web development skills it taught us have never been more important.
JavaScript is as essential as HTML and CSS in modern web development. MySpace may no longer be around to introduce this generation to it, but we definitely are.
