Technology is most useful when it mechanizes a repetitive process, and that is exactly the spirit of a bash script: a re-usable script that automatically executes a series of commands to speed up your programming workflow. In this new course, you will learn how to improve your own programming process by writing bash scripts that save you precious time.
Working on a data project? Similar to many Data Scientists, you might find this situation to be familiar: you spend 80% of your time cleaning data and only 20% of your time doing the analysis. Learn how to flip this ratio of work by utilizing common techniques for quickly getting your data ready to analyze. Along the way, you'll learn the basics of RegEx, a fun and powerful tool to find patterns in strings.
We're continuing to roll out our C++ course this week with new lessons on how to use control flow statements.
