Breaking the Coding Language Barrier
22 years after proudly announcing to his fellow kindergarteners that he'd someday be a computer programmer, Jorge still hadn't learned to code. As a Director of Digital Marketing at L'Óreal, Jorge regularly worked with developers but struggled to speak their language, an inefficiency that frustrated him. He joined Codecademy to change that.
Jorge quickly discovered a new passion in coding. He became a more effective team leader and advanced his career with a switch to a product manager position at Johnson & Johnson's JLABS.
